Memory Match is the card game every family already knows: everything face down, turn two over, keep them if they match. Easy deals 6 pairs, Medium 8 and Hard 10, and the clock runs from your first flip to your last.
Turn cards in an order you can remember
Most players flip more or less at random and rely on recall to catch up. The stronger approach is to impose an order — work along the top row left to right, then the next row — so that what you have seen forms a pattern rather than a scatter.
Position is far easier to remember when it sits in a sequence. 'Third one along the top' is one fact; 'somewhere over on the left, I think' is not a fact at all.
Say the card, do not photograph it
The cards carry words, and words are stored more reliably as sound than as pictures. Naming a card under your breath as you reveal it — 'bunga, second row' — encodes the position and the content together in the part of memory that holds them best.

The early game is where matches are won
The first few turns feel wasted because you rarely match anything, but they are the most valuable moves in the game — every card you see is information you will use later. Players who rush the opening flip fast, learn nothing, and then spend the rest of the board guessing.
Slow down at the start, name each card as it turns, and the back half of the board collapses quickly. Hard mode with 10 pairs punishes a careless opening more than the smaller boards do, simply because there is more to keep track of.
Cards, difficulty and the clock
Card faces are drawn from a set of everyday words and shown in whichever language you have selected, so the board changes when you switch between English and Bahasa Malaysia. The grid sizes itself to your screen width, four columns on Easy and Medium and five on Hard.
Your time is the score, and the leaderboard is kept separately for each difficulty so a 6-pair run never competes with a 10-pair one.
