Contest Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Organiser
The contest is run by CerdikCerdik.com, operated from Malaysia. Questions about the contest can be sent through our contact page.
2. Who can take part
Anyone with a CerdikCerdik account can take part, from any country. Entry is free and no purchase is needed. Where prizes can be posted is stated on the contest page for each contest — see Prizes below.
3. Contest period
Each contest runs between the start and end times shown on the contest page, in Malaysia time (UTC+8). Only activity within that period earns contest points.
4. Contest points
Contest points are earned from Congak, the daily quiz and game rounds, up to the daily limits shown on the contest page. They are separate from lifetime points and tiers, which are unaffected. The points and limits are the same for every contest; if they ever change, the change is announced on the contest page before a contest starts, never during one.
5. Inviting friends
Each player has a personal invite link. When someone creates a new account through it and then earns contest points on the number of different days of a contest shown on the contest page, the player who invited them receives the invite points shown there, up to the number of friends per contest shown there. Only new accounts count, each friend counts once, and a friend who qualifies after their inviter has reached the limit can count in a later contest instead. Invite points from accounts created to invite oneself, or that do not belong to a real separate person, are taken back, and the entry may be disqualified as described under Fair play.
6. Winning
The player with the most contest points when the contest ends wins; where a contest has more than one prize, they go to the top players in order. If players have the same total, whoever reached it first ranks higher.
7. The leaderboard
The contest page shows a public leaderboard of the leading players. For each contest, the contest page states whether the leaderboard stops updating for a period before the end, and whether it shows points or ranks only while the contest runs. Points earned while the leaderboard is frozen still count in full, and the final standings, with points, are shown when the contest ends.
8. Fair play
Using scripts, bots or any automated play, modified or tampered games, deliberately exploiting a fault, or several accounts to gain an advantage is not allowed. We review the leading entries before any prize is awarded. An entry found to break these rules is disqualified, its contest points stop counting, and the player is told the reason by email. A player who believes a decision is wrong may reply to that email; after review, the organiser's decision is final. Disqualification does not affect an account's lifetime points or badges.
9. Prizes
Prizes are as described on the contest page and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute one of similar value. Each contest states whether prizes are posted only to Malaysian addresses or to any country; where it is Malaysia only, a winner may give the address of a friend or relative in Malaysia. One prize per person per contest.
10. Claiming a prize
Winners are contacted at the email address on their account and must claim within the period shown on the contest page (7 days unless stated otherwise) by giving a delivery address through the link in that email. A prize that is not claimed in time, or cannot be posted under the contest's shipping rule, passes to the next eligible player. Once a prize has been handed to the courier, we are not responsible for delays or loss in transit, though we will help follow it up.
11. Personal data
Contest activity and winners' delivery details are handled as described in our privacy policy, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Delivery details are used only to post the prize and are deleted 60 days after delivery.
12. Publicity
Usernames and avatars of leading players and winners are shown on the contest page. We never publish a winner's real name or address.
13. Changes and cancellation
In exceptional circumstances — a technical fault that affects scoring, or widespread cheating — we may extend, pause or cancel a contest. Any such change is announced on the contest page.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
